Tom Cruise Is ‘Freaking Out’ Over Divorce From Katie Holmes
Katie has taken the initiative in her divorce from Tom and isn’t backing down. Now, a source tells Hollywoodlife.com exclusively that Tom is terrified of losing control over Katie, Suri and the divorce!
Katie Holmes, 33, completely blindsided Tom Cruise, 50, by filing for divorce without his knowledge in New York City on June 28. Without wasting any time, Katie immediately filed for sole custody of the couple’s daughter Suri.
“He is totally freaking out right now because he no longer had control of Katie, Suri or the divorce,” a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com.
In an effort to gain some control, Tom is trying to move the divorce trial to California — but it looks like the case will most likely stay in New York City. For the past 7 years, Tom has been in control and now he’s panicking because he’s no longer in the driver’s seat.
The source also reveals that recent reports claiming the divorce isn’t about Scientology is just another attempt for Tom to gain some power in the divorce.
“His team will do anything to convince people that Scientology has nothing to do with their divorce!” the source explains.
