1. Although he is extremely private and gives out very little personal information, Horn was born in 1997 in the San Francisco bay area.
2. Horn played the grasshopper in a fifth-grade production of "James and the Giant Peach." This was his only acting experience before being cast in the lead role for the film "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close."
3. Besides English, Horn is fluent in Croatian because that is where his mother's ancestors hail from. He also is learning to speak Mandarin.
