Terrence Howard has landed a guest-starring role on Hawaii Five-0, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The Oscar nominee will appear in an episode that features flashbacks to Danny's (Scott Caan) life as a cop in New Jersey, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news. Howard's character does not get along with Danny.

Howard — whose credits include Hustle & Flow, Crash and Iron Man — joins the previously cast Kendall Jenner andVing Rhames, both of whom will appear in the same episode. Additionally, Emmy winner Christine Lahti will recur as McGarrett's mom in the upcoming third season.
The new season of Hawaii Five-0 premieres Monday, Sept. 24 at 10/9c on CBS.
