The Blind Auditions are done on Season 3 of "The Voice" but before they ended four more teen singers made it through to the next round and joined Team Adam, Team Blake, Team Christina or Team Cee Lo. Here's a look at the final teen singers going forward.
Nathalie Hernandez - Team Christina
Age 15 from Dunedin, Florida
Nathalie Hernandez wowed the judges with her rendition of Taylor Swift's "White Horse." Christina and Blake turned around immediately for the Florida teen that has been writing songs since she was 11 years old. Adam joined them by the end of the audition. And while most viewers assumed she'd pick country master Blake Shelton, she went with her heart and joined Team Xtina because the coach said she felt a connection with her.
Nicole Johnson - Team Blake
Age 18 from Denham Springs, Louisiana/Nashville, Tennessee
It's quite possible that Nicole Johnson chose Blake Shelton as her coach because his wife's song "The House That Built Me" is her favorite. She and her family, including her dog Jaxson, all relocated to Nashville in order for her to pursue her musical dreams. And now Shelton, who said on the show, "You had me at thang," will help her move closer towards that goal. Nicole told Christina Milian backstage that Blake got her genre of music and she had to go with him.
Kayla Nevarez - Team Adam
Age 17 from Mission Viejo, California
Kayla Nevarez took the 16th and final spot on Team Adam after impressing the judges with her version of Estelle's "American Boy." The admitted Christina Aguilera super fan shocked the viewers and the judges when instead of choosing her idol she went with Adam Levine. She explained to Milian after the audition that she had an open mind when she went in but she liked what Adam had to say and felt their musical styles were more similar.
Celica Westbrook - Team Christina
Age 16 from Franklin, Tennessee
Christina filled her final slot with Celica Westbrook a seasoned vet at 16, who was already offered a record deal earlier in her career. She sang Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" got three of the four judges to turn (and Adam's team was full so he couldn't press his button). When Christina said to her "You need to be on the radio right now," she knew she had to choose the pop diva.
Now all four teens will join the other 60 contestants for the head-to-head battle rounds beginning on Monday, October 8. Tune in the "The Voice" at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. Central on NBC.
