The three-night season premiere of "The Voice" wrapped up Wednesday. And by the end of the week, five teens had made it through to the battle rounds. Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine each chose one young contestant. Cee Lo Green picked two for his team. Here's a rundown of the teen singers on "The Voice" so far.
Gracia Harrison - Team Blake
Age 18 from Virden, Illinois
The 18-year-old from small town Illinois blew away the audience and the judges with her thick country twang and mad yodeling skills when she performed "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart." Adam, Cee Lo and Blake all turned around, but how could she not pick Shelton, the king of country? She names Kellie Pickler as her biggest musical influence, but she hopes to get back to the traditional sound of the roots of southern music and Blake will help take her there.
Trevin Hunte - Team Cee Lo
Age 18 from Queens, New York
Trevin Hunte's performance of "Listen" from "Dreamgirls" brought the judges to their feet and prompted Green to ask, "What planet are you from?" The singer, who just recently turned 18, listened to the pleas from Cee Lo, Christina and Blake who all turned around for him. In the end he went with the "Forget You" singer. The next day Hunte wrote on Twitter, "Woke up so discombobulated words can't even explain how happy I am."
Mackenzie Bourg - Team Cee Lo
Age 19 from Lafayette, Louisiana
Mackenzie Bourg could be "The Voice's" ultimate come back kid since just last year he was hospitalized with congestive heart failure. Now he's performing on a national stage and credits music with helping him recover. His version of Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" got Cee Lo to push his red button. And while Blake and Christina compared his looks to Harry Potter and Justin Bieber, Bourg hopes to forge his own identity on the show. Looks like fans are already catching on. Before his audition aired he had just 100 Twitter followers. Now, just two days later he's closing in on 6,000.
Samuel Mouton - Team Adam
Age 19 from Fort Collins, Colorado
Before going onstage Mouton commented that people are always surprised when he opens his mouth and his voice comes out. And when he took to the stage, every person watching did have that reaction. No one saw it coming that the white boy from Colorado with the long hair and the baseball cap would sound like Bob Marley. They perhaps would be less surprised to know that his fall back pans are options are ski instructor or outdoor guide. But Adam, Cee Lo and Christina heard the power in his voice, turned their chairs around for him. In the end he chose Levine, telling "The Voice" correspondent Christina Milian that he had hoped to work with the Maroon Five front man and when he turned his chair first, it solidified his choice.
MarissaAnne - Team Christina
Age 15 from Long Island, New York
MarissaAnne's blind auction was not featured on the first week of "The Voice," but she did end up on Team Christina. The 15-year-old is the youngest "Voice" contestant this season and owes her life, literally to her dad, who gave part of his liver, when she was diagnosed at five months with a fatal liver disease. She now has a mission and on her blog she writes, "I believe I was given a second chance in life and for a reason... to heal people through the power of music!… So dream big dreams and keep on smiling!!!"
