Senator Ted Kennedy has been released from the Washington Hospital Center Wednesday morning after suffering a
seizure during an Inauguration luncheon with President Barack Obama and fellow members of Congress.
Kennedy's office confirmed to the Associated Press that he left the hospital, where he had been resting overnight for observation.
A spokesperson for the Massachusetts Democrat said he was in good spirits and that doctors are urging Kennedy -- known for his long work days -- to get some rest.
Kennedy, who has been under treatment for brain cancer since May, suffered the seizure Tuesday due to fatigue, doctors claim.
