Taylor Swift Introduces Boyfriend to the Parents - What Else She's Been Up To

Taylor Swift has been busy in Nashville.

It looks like things are getting pretty serious for Taylor Swift and her new guy, Conor Kennedy. She recently took him back to her hometown of Nashville where they had lunch with her parents. The two have reportedly been dating for several weeks now and it seems much more than the summer fling some have suspected it to be.

The 18-year-old Kennedy is the youngest of Swift's paramours. She's dated a range of men from 20-year-old Taylor Lautner to 34-year-old John Mayer. Fans around Nashville are keeping their eyes open for any sightings of the young couple in hopes of meeting the country darling. We have to wonder how she's going to channel this budding relationship into some new music. Other than gallivanting around with her new guy, what else has she been up to lately?

    YouTube tease

On August 7, the 22-year-old tweeted " New things coming... :)" with a link to a YouTube video in which she says "Hey, it's Taylor. So I really want to talk to you about something. I would love it if you would join me August 13 for a live webchat. You can ask questions. I want to share some news with you, some really cool news. Not gonna go into it too much, but it's cool. I'll see you there." She also posted a banner about it on her Facebook page. We're going to guess it has to do with some new music, but we're intrigued to see what this is all about. It's no surprise she's having the chat on August 13 as it's well-known that 13 is her lucky number. The "Picture to Burn" singer clearly has a love of teasing her fans. Last month she posted a message on her Facebook page that read "I'm writing you from Nashville, where I just sat in a big room with a lot of people and made a lot of decisions about a lot of things happening very soon. And as vague as that sentence was, I think you know what it means. Stuff is about to happen. I love you more than ever."

    Top money maker

The Forbes list came out in July of the highest paid celebs under 30 years old and it's no surprise T-Swift made the list. Actually, she dominated it and came in first as the highest paid celeb by reportedly earning a mind-blowing $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012. Her concerts alone bring in about $1 million a night. Did we mention she's only 22 years old?

    Death hoax

The beauty has, yet again, been the victim of a death hoax. In early August, a Twitter account that claimed to be affiliated with MTV tweeted that the songstress was found dead in her home. Luckily, the rumor was squashed quickly before it sent fans into a panic. Her first encounter with pranksters announcing her death was back in 2009. She's certainly not the only celeb who has been the victim of a death hoax. Lady Gaga, Will Smith and Jon Bon Jovi were just some of the famous faces who were deemed dead before their time.
