Taylor Swift and Connor Kennedy are taking things to the next level. The singer invited the Kennedy scion home to meet her parents. The four shared a meal in Nashville, Tennessee. The star also purchased a multimillion-dollar property in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Hyannis Port is known as the location of the historic Kennedy Compound.
Swift has had a busy summer. The country darling is spending weekends with Connor and preparing to release her new album. The first single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" dropped today. The "Nevermind" singer will be discussing her creative process on "Good Morning America." The vicious breakup tune kicks off Taylor's fourth studio album, "Red."
Swift announced in an MTV chat that the completed project will be released on October 22nd. There's no indication of which ex the bitter new single is about. Taylor's high profile missteps in love are well-documented. The 22-year-old megastar has built a brand by singing about her personal life.
Let's look back at Taylor's men:
Mayer is also known for airing his dirty laundry. A romantic hookup between the pair was bound to become public. Swift ripped into her much older ex in the song, "Dear John." John admitted to being offended and "humiliated" by her lyrics. He dismissed the pop country singer's words as "cheap songwriting."
There is a 10 year age difference between Gyllenhaal and Swift. Nonetheless, Jake is generally regarded as a Hollywood nice guy. The two seemed happy in love on the cover of US Magazine. By all reports, their life together consisted of smiles and drinking lots of coffee. They eventually called it quits in December 2010.
Taylor and Taylor were an item back in 2009. The duo reportedly met on the set of "Valentine's Day." The "Twilight" star is two years younger than the singer. The couple shared a few laughs at the "Teen Choice Awards" and then it was splitsville.
Despite his relationship with the famously loose-lipped Swift, this Jonas refused to kiss and tell. When asked whether his song "Love Slayer" was about his ex, JJ explained, ""When I write songs, I don't say who they are about because I don't want the audience to relate to what was going on with me when I wrote it." For her part, Swift told Ellen DeGeneres that Joe broke up with her in a 27-second phone call.
So, are Taylor and Connor the real deal? Who do you think she's singing about now?
