"I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of Parade," says Knight, who acted in Broadway's Tartuffe and the 2001 revival of Noises Off.

"After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again," continues the actor.

Knight will play Leo Frank, who was convicted for murdering a a 13-year-old girl in Atlanta, Ga. in 1913. The play chronicles the frenzy surrounding the trial.

The play runs from Sept. 24 to Nov. 15.

Knight is also in talks to headline the 2010 Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor.

Best of luck to you, TR. I am sure you will shine on stage... I know anything you do will be gold. Thank you for giving us George O'Malley... you really brought him to life. George is my favorite fictional character. I will forever miss him.

I love T.R. Knight and am very happy that he's got a gig so fast. He's a wonderful actor and I just adore him. I will miss George and am very disappointed in the character's end and am not happy with Shonda at all for this, but I am pleased with the results for T.R. I wish him nothing but the best. Maybe the posters that say stupid crap will shut up finally.

Why'd he have to leave Grey's? I'm going to miss 'George'.
