T.R. Knight: "I Want a Baby"

T.R. Knight is ready to be a daddy

"I want a baby," the former Grey's Anatomy star reveals on Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He goes on, "I don't know if it's going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like."

The actor, 36 -- who is currently starring in musical Parade at the Mark Taper Forum in L.A. -- has said his former costar Katherine Heigl is inspiring him to have kids.

After she and husband Josh Kelley adopted Naleigh from Korea, Knight said, "I've wanted [kids] for a while, so it reinforces it.

"She's such a beautiful baby," he went on. "I'm so happy for her and Josh."
