LONDON, England, U.K. -- Susan Boyle is recovering in a private clinic in London after suffering from a bout of exhaustion following the "Britain's Got Talent" finale on Saturday. What she really needs though, according to her brother, Gerry Boyle, is to come home and see her beloved feline.

"She needs to return from London to Edinburgh... Come home to Blackburn. Be at home for a couple of days... Be reunited with the now world-famous Pebbles cat," Gerry told CBS' "The Early Show" on Tuesday. "[She needs to] have a good cup of Scottish tea and... have a couple days just to come back to normality."

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, on Sunday, when she was taken to a London clinic, SuBo cried out for her four legged pal.

"Where's Pebbles?" she reportedly cried.

Medical personnel eventually arranged for Susan to speak to her cat over the phone, the paper claims.

But now, Gerry said his sister, who was upset by Essex, England, dance group, Diversity, in the "Britain's Got Talent" final, is doing well.

"Susan seems to be coming back to her old ways," he told "The Early Show." "She's anxious to come home, and she's sounding a bit more like herself... I'm pleased to say."

Gerry said Susan does have some worries, mostly over her blooming career, which saw her go from unknown to international Internet phenomenon - with over 100 million YouTube views of her first performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables," in just weeks.

"Would you believe her biggest worry after Saturday night is -- where does her career go from here? Will she be still accepted?" Gerry said. "She didn't win the competition. Will people still want to hear her sing? And will there be a career for her as we stand here today?"

While SuBo faced some criticism in the run up to Saturday's final after she allegedly cursed in public and lashed out at two journalists and a policeman, she doesn't believe the media exploited her, according to Gerry.

"No, she doesn't think so, and nor do I. I think the media, yes, it's marvelous to have all this attention, to have all these warm feelings coming from across the country, across America," he said. "Let's face it, Susan seven weeks ago was simply a little lady from Scotland."

One who doesn't need anything other than a simple Kareoke back up, her performances feature only her beautiful voice along with her special personality! I blame Simon Cowell for presenting the Acrobatic dancers in a mix where they had no relevance. What are THEY going to folllow up with?

    It would be nice if Pebbles were with her now. I know how comforting my cats are for me and I consider myself quite normal. LOL Somebody bring Pebbles for a visit. She misses that comfort.

    i think susan boyle is a very nice person and i wish her the best. and talking to you cat even on the phone dosen't make you any different than anyone else. i have a cat and you should hear some of things i say to her and i think i'm very normal. red
