LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 26, 2007) - Brandon Routh, the newest incarnation of Superman, married longtime girlfriend, actress Courtney Ford, on Saturday.
The couple tied the knot at the El Capitan Ranch in Santa Barbara, according to a report in People.

"Even though it cooled off into the evening, I can only feel the warmth and love in this breath-taking setting," wedding planner Katie Tiffany of Tiffany Wedding told People.
Ford wore a Junko Yoshioka sheath dress with pave-diamond earrings by Neil Lane, which matched her Neil Lane engagement ring, according to People.
Routh reportedly skipped the red spandex for a cashmere suit by Looysen Fine Clothing.

The happy couple met four years ago. "I used to work at Lucky Strike," Routh told People in January, referring to the trendy bowling alley in Hollywood. "I was a bartender. And her brother was having his [wedding] rehearsal dinner party there."
The couple was able to make their long distance relationship work while Routh was in Australia shooting "Superman Returns" with nightly phone calls.
Routh refers to his wife as his personal kryptonite, telling People in June, "She brings me to my knees."

JackF74_1The reason why some people were thinking he was gay is they are confusing him with the director Bryan Singer who is gay. Brandon was on a trading card or some other promotinal card for the movie. Adam GI too had heard he was gay, but I put no more stock in that than I do in the rumor that he is registered to find extra-marital relationships. The more public a person (or couple) is, the more abundant and viscious the rumors become.
