Steve-O: DWTS "Forced Me to Grow as a Person"

Even though he was sad to get the boot on Tuesday's
Dancing With the Stars,
Steve-O , who has battled drug and alcohol addiction, says his time on the show helped him.
"I met a lot of challenges, I made a lot of mistakes and the fans kept me around long enough to learn from it all," said the
Jackass star, who earned the week's lowest score, 16 out of 30, for his rumba. "It's forced me to grow as a person and for that I'm very grateful."

"Every day you go in there, and he's just a different personality, and you're like, 'Alright! What are we gonna do today?'" she tells Us. "We had such a blast."

"Are you kidding? Of course!" she says. "He's such a great guy and so much fun. I'm going to miss seeing him every day, so of course, I'll send him a text message or two!"

"Having him backstage and around just really made everyone happy and kept us laughing," he tells Us. "To see him go really sucks."
