Stand Up To Cancer To Hide Celebrity-Signed Shirts Across U.S.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In celebration of its first anniversary and upcoming grants announcement, Stand Up To Cancer is inviting their @SU2C Twitter followers and its celebrity Twitterers to join in a national SU2C Twitterhunt, starting Tuesday, May 26th and running until all the hidden SU2C gifts are found.

Autographed SU2C T-shirts will be hidden in more than 20 cities across the US. @SU2C on Twitter will tweet the clues, and invite celebrity friends on Twitter to join in tweeting and re-tweeting clues. The SU2C gifts will be hidden in iconic spots in cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle and New Orleans.

SU2C T-shirts signed by celebrities including Kirsten Dunst, "Good Morning America's" Robin Roberts, the cast of "30 Rock," Jennifer Aniston, Charles Barkley, Jack Black, Mekhi Phifer, Josh Groban, Tony Hawk, Chris Tucker, Josh Bell, Dana Delany, Elizabeth Berkeley, Shemar Moore, Zach Levy, Jon Favreau, Phil Ramone, Melina Kanakardes, Scarlett Johansson, Monica Mancini, Kate Bosworth, Melissa Etheridge, and NY indie-pop artist Ingrid Michaelson (whose song "Be OK" benefits SU2C).

These stars, among many others, participated in an historic simulcast September 5, 2008 on ABC, NBC, and CBS, which helped to raise over $100 million for cancer research.

On Wednesday, May 27, one year to the day since its launch, SU2C will award its first grants to multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional research teams. The formation of the SU2C Dream Teams will facilitate unprecedented levels of collaboration across the top cancer centers in the U.S. and worldwide and bring better treatments to patients, faster.

Stand Up To Cancer invites everyone in the Twitterverse to participate in the hunt by following the Twitterhunt @SU2C and re-tweeting the clues. SU2C asks its followers to include #SU2C for trending. This is where the end of cancer begins.
