"I'd really like to target something for children because I feel like that is the generation I want to try and re-educate about food and what they're putting into their bodies," she told the New York Post.
We're completely behind anyone who supports healthy eating - especially when it comes to children. Keibler might be one of the only celebs to develop her own line of food, but plenty of celebs have advice on how to keep kids healthy.
We love to snark on Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP newsletter and its delightfully clueless contents. However, this week's newsletter gave us some great recipes for kid-friendly - and healthy - snacks.
I am a real snacker," Paltrow wrote. "Lately I have been trying to improve the quality of my snacks so that they are packed with real nutrition. It's no good to grab a handful of chips, so we have devised these super easy, healthy small bites."
Our favorite snacks on the list? The healthy cookie dough bites and the fruit leather. We're already planning to make these this weekend - and we don't even have kids.
British chef Jamie Oliver has been one of the loudest voices in support of providing children with healthy snacks both at school and home. He's even willing to donate the profits from his companies to schools to make this a reality.
"Probably what I am going to do over the next 10 to 15 years is literally have a percentage of profits from every single company that I have which hives cash down," he told the BBC.
"It will build gardens, build school kitchens, give them seeds and fruit trees as well as teaching collateral including web sites, DVDs and conferences."
A pretty tall order, but at least he's putting in the effort!
It's not about food, but Jessica Alba was inspired to create her Honest company after she had her own children. The subscription-based service provides eco- and kid-friendly products on a monthly basis.
Alba told Self that she was inspired to do this after a particularly terrifying parenting moment.
"I found my daughter Honor sitting in her crib, eating these tiny beads from the inside of her diaper," she recalled. "They were all over her face. It was a moment of terror."
