The New York Daily News reported the couple, who have been linked since 2003, recently went through a nasty split.
"I'm dating my new album, and no one else," the Daily News quoted the singer, 27, as saying.

Ashanti says she worked with Nelly, 33, on her new album, The Declaration.
"He's a lot of fun, a lot of fun," she told Us after being appointed Music & Nightlife ambassador for Nassau County on Tuesday.
