Solange Knowles Breaks Foot; Vows To Continue Tour

Solange, the younger sister of Beyonce, was promoting her new album "Sol-Angel" when the break happened.

She managed to continue her tour, despite the injury, performing on Sunday in Kansas, MO.
"As Solange entered the stage in Kansas City, a large piece of metal fell from the doorway and onto her foot, breaking it," a rep for Solange said in a statement. "Ms. Knowles continued to head out to the stage and performed her full set while in extreme pain. Immediately following her performance, she was rushed to the hospital where she learned her foot was indeed broken."

Solange is now wearing a cast and will complete the remainder of her tour despite the injury. She will perform some of her set seated, due to the break.
