Kristin Cavallari only gave birth to son Camden Jack a few weeks ago, but she's already losing the weight and thinking about more babies. The former MTV reality star is reportedly working hard to lose the weight.
"Walking uphill on the treadmill to work out this booty. Bye bye baby weight," she tweeted in late September.
However, she hasn't lost all the baby weight yet, contrary to what US Weekly says.
"Just like every other new mom out there, they know the weight just does not magically fall off," she told Life & Style magazine. "The truth is I am struggling to lose the last few pounds that I have but I am happy with my weight and I'm not going to kill myself for it."
Glad to hear it, Kristin. There's way too much emphasis on losing weight mere seconds after giving birth. It's getting to be really ridiculous, don't you think? If you weren't convinced, check out how obsessed everyone is with the weight of these new Hollywood moms.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi barely gave birth to son Lorenzo a month ago, but she's already working on slimming down. The reality star showed off her svelte figure in a TwitPic last week.
"I've lost a lot of my baby weight! Also it's the best for him!" she tweeted. The pint-sized MTV star also said she's lost weight through eating a consistent diet of chicken and vegetables.
Don't get her wrong, though: She still loves to lay around and sleep, though she doesn't get to do it much these days.
"You know your (sic) a parent when the most exciting news to you is you get to catch up on sleep tomorrow! WOOOOHOOOO," she tweeted on Sept. 29.
"Up All Night" actress Christina Applegate is definitely not one of those Hollywood moms concerned about her weight. The actress - who gave birth to daughter Sadie in January 2011 - revealed that she's still working on losing the weight. It's not really an issue for her though.
"I just transitioned out of maternity jeans. I'm working on two years and I haven't even lost all my weight," she told People. "And those girls that do, they're spending less time with their kids. I just wanted to hang out with my daughter 24 hours a day."
Finally, someone who has the right priorities!
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian has been spotted getting her workout on in Miami recently, but the new mom of Penelope Scotland insists she's not worried about losing the weight.
"I gained nearly 45 pounds. I'm five feet tall, so that's a lot," she told Us Weekly. "While I'm here around the house, I just eat healthy."
Do you think celeb moms put too much emphasis on losing weight?
