Snooki recently debuted her new svelte look on the fourth season of "Jersey Shore" and during the MTV VMAs. The pint-sized reality star dropped about 10 lbs. from her tiny frame - and it shows!
So, how does she do it?
"Pretty much just hitting the gym, eating healthy, and pooping a lot," the totally serious Guidette told SheKnows on the VMA black carpet. Uh, thanks for the visual.
Snooki isn't the only celebrity using unusual methods to lose weight. After all, it's all about losing weight instantly in Hollywood.
Beyonce is focusing on healthy eating these days, thanks to her pregnancy. However, that wasn't the case a few years back when she was prepping to star in "Dreamgirls." The singer and actress wanted to drop a few pounds for the role, so she used an odd body cleanse: the cayenne pepper diet.
The cleanse sounds absolutely disgusting - it calls for the combination of cayenne pepper, hot water, lemon juice and maple syrup. Bleh. It works as a diruetic on the body, so that's why Queen B was able to drop the reported 20 lbs. so quickly. Of course, she gained it back once she stopped.
Reality star Kendra Wilkinson's struggle with her post-baby weight loss was well documented on her E! reality show, "Kendra." However, she later dropped the lbs., thanks to the supplement Ab Cuts.
"I came across a health supplement a couple of weeks ago and, man, has this thing been working! It's called Ab Cuts -- I'd seen all these diet products before, but I didn't want to poop all day with those weird cleanses, Ab Cuts is like a magic potion," Wilkinson told Life & Style late last year.
We kind of doubt her claims - she's getting paid to endorse the product, just like "Jersey Shore" star Jenni JWoww Farley. The ingredients for Ab Cuts aren't dangerous like some diet pills, though.
Another E! reality star, Kim Kardashian, shills for QuickTrim. The weight loss pill is also endorsed by her sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian.
"It's so great to see how these woman have transformed their bodies with the help of QuickTrim. I'm looking forward to seeing and reading more amazing success stories!" Kardashian wrote on her blog last year.
However, many medical professionals warn against the product. The main complaint is that QuickTrim contains a lot of caffeine, something that's not advertised prominently. The excess caffeine can lead to the jitters and possibly an irregular heartbeat.
We think we'll just stick to plain ol' diet and exercise.
Have you tried any Hollywood weight loss tricks? How did they work out for you?
