Will the Sixth Season of Jersey Shore Be the Show's Last?
Now that the cast of Jersey Shore has finally grown up — Snooki's pregnant! The Situation isn't drinking! — it may be time to say goodbye.
The sixth season of the MTV reality series, which recently went back into production, will be the show's last, In Touch reports. An insider tells the magazine that when the cast arrived in Seaside Heights, N.J., to begin filming on May 31, an executive producer announced that it will be the final year.
Can Jersey Shore survive sobriety?
According to the magazine, the cast — which also includes JWoww, Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammi, Vinny and Deena — was fine with the decision to end the series. "They decided to make the most of their final days at the Shore," the insider told In Touch.
"No decision has been made yet on another season of the show," a network spokesperson tells TVGuide.com.
