Shia LaBeouf: 'I Don't Know How To Have One Drink'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- While Shia LaBeouf recovers at a hospital, following surgery on his left hand, which was injured in Sunday's alleged drunken driving crash, new revelations about the actor and his alcohol consumption have emerged.

In the upcoming September issue of Details magazine, which hits newsstands next month, the 22-year-old "Transformers" star told the publication he can't stop at one alcoholic beverage.

"I don't know how to do it like a gentleman," he told the magazine. "I don't know how to have one drink."

LaBeouf also told the magazine he and his father "would drink together and smoke together."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, LaBeouf was involved in a collision in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The green Ford truck LaBeouf was driving, flipped as he and another vehicle collided as he attempted to make a left-hand turn.

The actor was taken to the hospital following the crash where he was cited, arrested on suspicion of DUI and released. He underwent hand surgery early Sunday morning.

LaBeouf's crash will not delay the release date of "Transformers 2," which the actor has been filming, reps for the studio confirmed to Access Hollywood.

    It's clear that he is disrespecting society by putting thier lives at stake, so yes I agree that he should spend some time in jail. There is just one thing that I don't understand, if they are making millions per movie, then why doesn't he hire a driver? It is ridiculous, Celebs spend more on a handbag than I make in a week, but they cant hire some one for 50 dollars a
