Pregnancy isn't keeping Shakira from showing off her hips onstage. The "Loca" singer took to the stage both Saturday and Sunday night in Azerbaijan -- and showed off her growing baby belly in the process! Shakira first performed before the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2012 Final between France and Korea DPR at the Tofig Bahramov Stadium in Baku.
Did pregnancy take it out of her? Nope!
"I felt awesome on stage! We really enjoyed tonight! Shak #Baku," she tweeted afterward.
The Colombia native returned to the stadium to perform a full-length concert on Sunday night wearing a sparkly top, black tights and knee-high boots. She's cut back her performances - including a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September - because of her first pregnancy with fiance Gerard Pique.
"As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she said at the time. "At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."
She seems to be taking to pregnancy nicely, tweeting that "now I don't have a six pack, only one pack!!" We're hoping she'll continue to perform as she progresses in her pregnancy. It's definitely possible, judging from these fellow pregnant performers.
Beyonce introduced her pregnancy to the world last September when she performed "Love on Top" during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The wife of Jay-Z kept her belly under wraps during the performance and then dramatically ripped open her blazer to show off the growing belly.
She was positively glowing during the performance, too. Maybe because she was more than ready to be a mom?
"I feel like a woman. I feel like I'm very aware of who I am. I feel great and I feel like 30 is the ideal age [to start a family], because you're mature enough to know who you are and to have your boundaries and your standards," she told Piers Morgan in 2011. "I'm so looking forward to it."
Now, of course, she's mom to the ultra adorable Blue Ivy Carter.
The culprit? Her sky-high heels. She reportedly laughed, kicked them off and continued on without a hitch.
Do you think Shakira should perform while pregnant?
