'Sex's' Kristin Davis Launches Clothing Line

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Kristin Davis, who played the Park Avenue-posh Charlotte York Goldenblatt in "Sex and The City," appears to be a southern belle at heart.

Following in the footsteps of fellow "Sex" star Sarah Jessica Parker, who has a clothing line called "Bitten," Kristin is launching her own line of clothing with the North Carolina-based department store chain Belk Inc., according to a statement released by the retailer.

Kristin, who is a South Carolina native, told Women's Wear Daily that Belk has been a part of her life since childhood.

"I grew up shopping at Belk. It was the nicest store we had, and I'd save my allowance to go [there]," she told WWD.

Kristin's as-of-yet unnamed label is said to be a "modern, feminine, style-savvy" line that will include apparel, sleepwear, loungewear, shoes, handbags and jewelry, ranging in price from $38 - $240.

Nice, next is barely-here lingerie by Kitrall and undees for girl-on-girl by the redhead and then war will start by the major retailers who sponsor non-desigers at their stores....

Wow! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I finally can sleep at night knowing that there are stars that really do wear their outfits more than one time! I am just a regular everyday person and I am so glad to live in the real world. As apposed to the hollow, self center life of a star. These people make enough money to feed and house so many people who need help. Think of this when they have on a 10,000. dress!

I think it is a sad state of affairs when people cannot wear a dress more than one time. SJP -- shame on you. So many women from all walks of life look up to you as a role model -- Most women wear a dress more than once and should not be made to feel bad if they do choose to wear a dress more than once. SJP you really are shallow and that disappoints me.
