You might think that the stars of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" are flushing money down the toilet when they spend it on frivolous things like closets full of shoes and multiple cars, but would Scott Disick really use $100 bills for toilet paper?
Probably not, but the reality show star did recently share an Instagram photo of a massive stack of money resting on a toilet paper holder. He captioned the picture, "I know yall didn't think I would actually use toilet paper!" In another classy move, Lord Disick posted a message that read, "Hello, peasant's is that u?" It was accompanied by a photo of Scott using a stack of money as a cell phone. At least his good friend Benjamin won't criticize him for crowing about his cash.
Scott Disick also couldn't resist sharing a photo of himself wearing multiple pricey watches on his arm, and he isn't the only member of the Kardashian clan who likes to over-accessorize in Instagram photos. In January, Kim Kardashian shared a photo of a bunch of Cartier bracelets that were given to her by Kanye West. According to ET Online, the assortment of five arm adornments is worth about $65,000. Just a month later, Kim caused another major Instagram envy epidemic by sharing a photo of Kanye's Valentine's Day gift. He bought another Cartier cuff for her collection that was worth between $68,000 and $73,000.
Kim's little sisters have also embraced Instagram as a way to show off their expensive accessories. Last December, Kendall and Kylie Jenner shared photos of their Christmas gifts, which included a $2,300 Céline Luggage Mini and a $1,195 pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 spiked pumps. Kylie also got an Alexander McQueen Skull tapestry pillow worth $675, so hopefully she gets a really good night's sleep now.
Kim Kardashian and her family might think that it's fun to use Instagram to flaunt their taste for the finer things in life, but her BFF, Jonathan Cheban, recently found out that it's not always a good idea to post pictures of pricey possessions online.
According to Extra, Jonathan was eating lunch at a restaurant in The Hamptons last month when he decided to share the name of the eatery along with a photo of his $500,000 Jacob & Co. watch. About half an hour later, a man approached him and tried to pull the watch right off of his wrist, but security stopped the thief from getting away with the loot.
So let this be a lesson to Lord Disick -- it's probably not a good idea to use that money phone in public.
