"Every day I look at her and I am in awe," Sarah Michelle told the mag.

Sarah Michelle, was 32 when she gave birth to Charlotte and although she and Freddie, 33, have been married since 2002, she said she is glad the couple waited to have their first child.

"Becoming a parent is the most selfless act and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child," the actress said "I don't know if you know how to do that when you're in your 20s."

And Freddie is also proud of having waited until they were really ready.

"I'm so happy we didn't have kids in our 20s - I just didn't know a thing. You have so much more patience in your 30s, and I feel like I appreciate this so much more," he said.

Whatever- let's be honest: most people who have their kids at a young age- especially famous people- have a hard time. Look at Britney Spears. Or a better example would be my friends parents who had her when they were 19 years-old and broke up five years later. I'm not saying its impossible to be a good parent and spouse but statistics show that its rare. You and your hubby are exc

Interesting, because I had all three of my kids in my twenties-21, 24 and 28. I'd also like to point out that my husband is 2 years younger and was only 19 when our first was born. We have given everything (happily and willingly) to them and I would do it again in a heartbeat. YOU MAKE THE CHOICE, who is more important-you or that little miracle? I knew the moment I laid eyes on mine.

I am now 30 and have two kids, ages 8 and 5. Both were planned w/ my husband of 10 years. Our kids are well taken care of and are provided well. It depends on the person and the maturity level. I am glad I had kids young. I will still be young when they get out on their own one day and I can I will still be young enough to enjoy life.

I agree whole heartedly with Sarah Michelle Geller. Having a kid in your 30s is a better idea because 20-somethings are still young and naive and wouldn't be able to tend to a child properly. I should know since I am 27 years old. I am waiting to have kids until I'm over 30 because I know I will be older and mature enough to handle dropping everything in my life to care for my chil
