Actor Sam Worthington was charged with disorderly conduct after engaging in a "Clash of Titans" so to speak -with an Atlanta doorman. After being refused entry into The Vortex restaurant because he was too intoxicated, a shoving match ensued. Police took Worthington into custody, but not before dousing him with pepper spray. But the "Man on a Ledge" star's ugly scene is just one of many hostile situations we've read about lately. See what kind of hot water some of your favorite celebs found themselves in, in 2012.
Outspoken reality star Flavor Flav took his aggressions out on his fiancee Elizabeth Trujillo, reportedly throwing her to the floor during an argument. As if that wasn't bad enough, Flav (also known as William Drayton, Jr.) got his hands on some knives and threatened her 17 year-old son. Ironically, the Public Enemy rapper plans on fighting the charges and reconciling with his girlfriend.
Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson
Who can forget the story that clung to headlines for weeks? Former football star Chad Johnson was arrested in August after an altercation with his "Basketball Wife" Evelyn Lozada, reportedly head-butting her. For Ocho, the fallout was devastating. She quickly filed for divorce, and his NFL career ended all within a matter of months.
Katy Perry's former spouse didn't exactly attack another person per se, but rather a cell phone. In March, he was accused of snatching a photographer's iPhone and chucking it through a window. The embarrassing incident resulted in criminal damage charges.
The name Randy Travis is perhaps the last one you'd expect to see beneath a mug shot for simple assault. In one of the weirdest stories to emerge from Hollywood, the legendary country singer was arrested for driving under the influence after he wrecked his Pontiac Trans Am. But it gets even weirder; apparently police discovered the singer naked. Travis didn't take the arrest so well, reportedly threatening officers with bodily harm.
It appears that Lindsay Lohan isn't the only one having a few problems at the Dream Hotel in New York. In October, the "8 Mile" actress allegedly punched, kicked and scratched her make-up artist Holly Hartman in a serious scuffle. Manning racked up a few charges as a result. But it seems there's no love lost. Holly (also Taryn's friend and housemate) apparently wants to kiss and make up, without pressing charges. We'll see how that goes…
