Ryan and David announced the news to friends and family via e-mail, according to E! Online.
Logan Phineas Miller Murphy was born at 9:47 AM on Monday, weighing 6 lbs., 6 oz and measuring 21 inches long, the announcement stated.

Along with the happy holiday news, the couple also included a photo of their new son playfully posed inside a Christmas stocking.
No other details on the child's birth were immediately available.
