LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Rosie O'Donnell is laughing off Barbara Walters' comments from Thursday morning's episode of "The View."

Barbara took aim at the former host in the show opening in an apparent response to Rosie's negative comments on Wednesday, noting that some past hosts had the tendency "to dump on [the show], maybe for their own publicity."

Rosie responded to Barbara with a new video on her blog titled "Lady," which opens with a happy photo of herself with Barbara from last week, dated November 13, 2008.

"I do not know what Star Jones and Debbie Matenopoulos did, but oooooh, lady... she is pissed off!" Rosie said in the clip.

Rosie, who left "The View" in May 2007 after some tense moments with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, has been promoting her upcoming variety show, "Rosie Live," which airs November 26 on NBC.

On Wednesday, she told reporters that she was pulled into political discussions by the show, and that there was little "camaraderie" behind the scenes of the frequently heated show.

" I didn't want to be paid to fight," she said, according to TV Guide. "When I started and took that job it was with the idea of speaking for the millions of mothers whose voices weren't heard on television."

I think that they both need to grow up, Rosie is making everything about Gays. Ellen is gay and feels very strong about her life, but keeps it to not being so over the top of the conversation's all the time. Rosie can't open her mouth without hot air coming out of it. Elisebeth is an ex reality star who Barbara thought would be a fresh idea for the view, time to refresh again Barb

Just maybe the problem isn't with the past hosts, maybe the problem is Elisabeth. Her name just always seems to pop-up whenever there is a problem on the show. I think it's time they get rid of her. Good Riddance!!!!!.

She wanted to speak for millions of mothers? Did she bother to ask any of them if they wanted her for a spokesperson? Is she some kind of supermom who knows everything now? Being opinionated is one thing, but Rosie tends to be more annoying than interesting when she attempts to get her points across. Of course, the producers of the View wanted that to draw viewers in, for a while.

Elis is classy, beautiful and smart and the ONLY voice of reason and sanity on that show. Her opinion is different than the liberal damo-crats, and they cant stand anyone w/a shred of morals. How sad for them. We need more ppl like Elis, and less of the loud mouth anti-americans like Rosie and Joy.
