Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has entered a rehab facility for his "continued battle with alcohol," his rep said Wednesday.

"His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery," the rep added.

Wood's treatment comes a week after the 61-year-old was reported to have had a fling with a 18-year-old Russian cocktail waitress.

(Can you believe the age difference of these celeb couples?)

The reported fling with Ekaterina Ivanova had threatened his marriage with his wife of 23 years, Jo.

Wood has previously admitted that his wife and singer Mick Jagger had him seek treatment before the band's 2002 tour. Keith Richards also urged him to get help.

It is never too late to seek treatment. I for one am glad he is getting help for his addiction. It is a long tough battle, and only he can do it if he is not in denial. Hey Ron, N/A awaits.
