Uncle Joey Finally Speaks Out About Alanis
Song: Dave Coulier is finally speaking out about being the
man behind Alanis Morissette's scathing hit song, "You Oughta
Know." "I said, 'Wow, this girl is angry.' And then I said, 'Oh
man, I think it's Alanis,'" Dave told the
Calgary Herald. "I listened to the song over and over
again, and I said, 'I think I have really hurt this person.' I
tried to contact her and I finally got a hold of her." Luckily the
former couple was able to patch things up. "We saw each other and
hung out for an entire day. And it was beautiful. It was one of
those things where it was kind of like, 'We're good.'"
LC To "Gossip"?: Lauren Conrad would seem like
a natural fit for The CW's "Gossip Girl," but "The Hills" star told
E!'s Marc Malkin that she wants to keep all her
gossiping planted in her semi-scripted reality show. "I probably
wouldn't want to see myself on there because it would ruin it for
me," she said. "I like watching other people get gossiped about. It
makes me feel better." Awww, so sweet!

Audrina Patridge Checks In: Speaking of people
LC likes to gossip about, Audrina Patridge is slated to guest star
on the new series, "Do Not Disturb," with Jerry O'Connell and Niecy
Nash, according to Audrina's blog. And
"The Hills" star couldn't be happier. "I will be playing a guest
checking into the hotel and I am going to film my scenes sometime
next week! I think Jerry O'Connell is hysterical (have you guys
seen his video on that website Funny or Die!?) and I can't wait to
meet Niecy!," she blogged. It's nice to see she's getting work on a
show where they admit to having a script.
David Beckham To Close Olympics: Soccer superstar David Beckham will help with the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Access Hollywood has confirmed. "David is going to be in the surprise finale. They always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics," a source told People. The 2012 games will be held in London. "He was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London," the source went on to say. "He is passionate about it and looking forward to the games in 2012."
