The actress was spotted sporting a large black velvet headband at the New Yorkers for Children Gala, benefiting children in foster care Wednesday night. If "90210" and NKOTB can make a comeback, why not giant velvet headbands? So start digging through the back of your closets, there's fashion gold in there!

Tisadale, What A Witch: In yet even more old is new again news, "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale is in talks to remake the 1989 movie, "Teen Witch," Variety reports. Hmmmm, a teenage girl movie about a witch, somewhere there is one angry Hermione!

Brit To The Mic: Britney Spears has made another stop on her comeback journey. The pop princess was in a Burbank recording studio for the last two days, according to E! Online. The singer is reportedly taking vocal lessons and spending some time behind the piano tickling the ivories. "She's doing it just for fun. She's just sitting at the piano, singing a little. She's just in there to have some fun. It may lead to something down the road, but right now this is just part of her staying on the right track," a source told E!. It's moments like these that led to wonderful things like "…Baby One More Time" and "Toxic" - don't get up from that piano, Brit!

Rocker Boyfriend Arm Candy Night: Besides headbands, the new accessory for Hollywood starlets appears to be the rocker. Ashlee Simpson and Nicole Richie took their respective rocker boyfriends, Pete Wentz and Joel Madden, out for a double date last night, Us Weekly reports. The foursome hit the town in NYC, but were never photographed together. No word on many tubes of eyeliner were sacrificed for this night on the town.

Duff Dishes On Lindsay, Avril & Miley: What would we do without celebs talking about other celebs? Hilary Duff is sounding off to Allure magazine about some of her Young Hollywood counterparts. Hilary says of Lindsay Lohan, "Supposedly, I stole Lindsay Lohan's boyfriend [Aaron Carter.] We were, like, 13! And I've never stolen anyone's boyfriend! I don't know how you do that! She was talking about it and I wasn't. It made us both look bad and put up a big weirdness. Really she was just a girl my age. We are fine now, by the way." And what about new queen of the tweens Miley Cyrus? "We don't have each other's phone numbers. But when she meets me, she's excited. It's cute - I see a lot of myself in her," Hilary said of Miley. And as for Avril and Hilary, don't expect these two to be spotted together anytime soon. "She called me a goody-goody [Lavigne called Duff a 'mommy's girl' in Newsweek, according to People]. Everyone is trying to prove who they are, and their position. So, I'm 'the good girl.' She's 'the bad girl' or 'the party girl.' Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't take her clothes off, but she's not a 'good girl.' [Adult actors] don't get tagged like we do," Hilary told the mag. Two things - don't bring SJP into this catfight and fighting over Aaron Carter, really? Seriously?
