  All I have to say is ya'll are stupid. She stood up for what she believes in. It's a strong Chrisitian faith to wait until marriage to have sex.   with or without a ring..more young people should consider staying pure..with all the nasty things going on in the world..why not hold on to something. what is wrong with having some morals by the way? you dont have to sleep around at 14 to be accepted. i think people as a whole should step back and look. it shouldnt be ok to have sex, drink and drugs..when you are so young and nieve.

  I agree pechanga that show off one's high morols is not such a great thing. On the other hand in this case since the people in question are role models for younger people and having a role model with high morols is a good thing im ok with them showing it off, hopefully none of them with fall off the wagon

• I don't think she apologized properly to the people who don't wear rings. Calling people %@!*#s wasn't the best thing to say, she needed to think before she spoke. When you say to a mag that you don't regret your statement you aren't apologizing to those indivduals who are still virgins and don't wear rings.

  I think the big issue is having to wear a friggin ring to show you desire to remain a virgin. If you want to be a virgin until marriage- that's great, but you dont have to broadcast it. The ring is nothing more but to show people how moral you are and to bring attention to yourself as being different. Its like showing off. Look at me! I have high morals!
