Robin Wright Penn has filed for divorce from Sean Penn, according to papers submitted Aug. 12, Access Hollywood reports.

The two have been together since 1989 and married since 1996.
They've also filed papers to split twice in the last few years, only to reconcile as recently as May.

But in the new issue of More, Wright Penn says she is finished with their marriage.
"I hit that crossroad a while ago," Wright Penn says. "I know what I don't want."
Despite the rollercoaster marriage, she had no regrets.

"I, we, have two amazing children we raised together."
In addition to son Hopper Jack, 16, they have a daughter Dylan Frances, 18, who is headed off to college.
"At least twice a week, I pull over and sob," she tells More. "My baby is leaving. It's an emotionally full time, but it's not sad. I can't wait for Dylan to go [out and] live. That's what makes me cry."

I think this is obviously the end for them no reconciliation they would look like jackasses if they got back together especially her, they probably were together just for their kids.
