Robert Pattinson is gearing up for an appearance on "Good Morning America" August 15 to promote his current movie project, "Cosmopolis." However, the more likely topic on everyone's mind will be how the "Twilight" hunk is healing from the recent cheating scandal between his longtime love, Kristen Stewart and her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. Since Rob's interview was scheduled before news of Kristen's affair broke we have a feeling no subject will be off limits.
The all-access "GMA" interview should be quite revealing since R-Patz has avoided the spotlight after leaving his Hollywood pad with KStew to lay low at friend Reese Witherspoon's Ojai, Calif., estate. He has only ventured out to party at a local bar, but has yet to make any comments regarding the debacle.
Despite Rob's silence, other have had plenty to say about the scandal. Bill Condon, the director of the upcoming Stewart-Pattinson flick "Breaking Dawn, Part 2" says, "The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it's not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that." The cast of "Twilight" saga is allegedly forbidden from discussing the RobSten relationship in light of recent events. Nonetheless, it is being reported that co-star Taylor Lautner is extremely disappointed in Kristen for the infidelity.
As the interview approaches here are a couple potential questions that fans may want the answers to.
Did Kristen tell Rob about the affair?
Robert was supposedly all set to propose to Kristen before the affair came to light. Then, K-Stew issued a public apology when the damning photos surfaced. We can only assume (and hope) that Rob knew what was going on before the story went public. One question the interviewer might present is, "How did you first find out about the adultery?"
Has Rob been in contact with Kristen?
Kristen's mother, Jules Stewart, is also speaking out about the scandal. "My daughter is being hounded," she revealed recently. Meanwhile, Rob is said to be drunk dialing his girlfriend of three years. "Good Morning America" could give the Brit a chance to set the record straight on whether he has had any contact with Kristen.
What would Rob like to say to Mr. Sanders?
There are reports that Liberty Ross is "desperate" to meet with Robert. Ross is the betrayed wife of Kristen's "Snow White and the Huntsman" director and affair partner. Liberty also played the mother to Kristen's Snow White character. While Liberty and Rob could certainly console each other, we wonder whether Rob has any words for the much-older Rupert.
