It looks like "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are going to fight for their relationship. For a while, it looks like things between the two were over after Kristen admitted to cheating on her 26-year-old boyfriend with a married director. However, the two were recently seen together in Los Angeles and multiple sources seem to think that they will be a couple again. "They're working it out," said one source. "He's still in love with her." Cheating scandals are nothing new in the celebrity community, and neither is the notion of the cheater being forgiven. However, that forgiveness has had varying levels of success over the years. If Robert can indeed look past Kristen's transgressions, he might look to certain couples for guidance. Here are three celebrity couples that have weathered cheating scandals and remain together.
Bill and Hillary Clinton
The 42nd President has been implicated in a number of cheating scandals, but none were more famous than the Monica Lewinsky affair that ultimately put his Presidency on trial. Throughout the whole ordeal, Hillary stood by her man despite mixed opinions from the public. Many people thought that the marriage was a sham in order to drive her own career, but Hillary said otherwise in her 2003 memoir. "No one understands me better and no one can make me laugh the way Bill does," she wrote. "Even after all these years, he is still the most interesting, energizing and fully alive person I have ever met."
David Letterman and Regina Lasko
During a heartfelt segment on his popular talk show in 2009, David admitted to having multiple affairs with female staffers after he was the victim of an extortion plot. David married Regina earlier in 2009, but had been dating her for 23 years prior to that. Apparently, his sincere apology did the trick and the two continue to maintain a strong marriage. Earlier this year, David was happily sharing stories about his wife with Regis Philbin during a TV interview.

The actor and his fashion designer wife have four children together since tying the knot in 2000, but the marriage had a very rough patch in 2008. After photos of the star smooching with a topless Sienna Miller surfaced, he was forced to admit his infidelity. However, his wife proved to be very forgiving when she took her husband back. Since then, the reunited couple has spoken openly about forgiveness. "I believe we go through things in a public way to help other people get through it," she said. "I'd love to talk about it more with people when I'm clearer about it."
