Rihanna is raising more than a few eyebrows with her new interview in Rolling Stone magazine. Sure, she sings that "whips and chains excite me" in her hit "S&M," but no one knew she was speaking from personal experience.
"I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous," the singer told Rolling Stone. "Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned - you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I'd rather have him use his hands."
Rihanna isn't the only celeb to overshare in interviews. Most celebs claim they like privacy; but some, like these four celebs, just put it all out there.
John Mayer might write some of the most romantic pop songs, but sometimes it's better if he just keeps his innermost thoughts to himself. Take for instance his 2010 interview with Playboy magazine. He caught a bad case of "foot in mouth" disease before answering questions.
Among his musings? His relationship with Jessica Simpson.
"That girl, for me, is a drug. And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them," Mayer said of Simpson. "Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. ... Sexually it was crazy. That's all I'll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm."
He even referred to his manhood as "a white supremacist."
Of course, Mayer received a lot of flack for the interview. He eventually apologized and hasn't said much publicly since.
Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith might have a lot on her plate - she is the mother of up-and-coming entertainers Jayden Smith and Willow Smith - but that doesn't mean she forgets her own needs.
Pinkett-Smith made sure everyone knew it too when she sat down with Shape magazine in 2009.
"When you have three kids, you've got to take your opportunities when they come. In a limo, on the way to the Academy Awards this year, Will started looking at me in this way that drives me wild. We started kissing passionately, and the next thing I knew, well, let's just say we missed the red carpet and I ended up with almost no makeup on," Pinkett-Smith said.
Let's hope her kids don't read that someday - talk about nightmare material.
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt seems like a great person, but she goes over-the-top when she wants attention. Need proof? Take her 2010 appearance on George Lopez Tonight.
"After a breakup, a friend of mine Swarovski Crystaled my 'precious lady' and it shined like a disco ball, and so I have a whole chapter in there about how women should 'vagazzle' their vajayjays," she told Lopez while promoting her love book "The Day I Shot Cupid."
She went on to explain that she dedicated an entire chapter to vagazzling - and she even adorned her lady parts for that interview.
"It's hot pink for today for you ... I am currently vagazzled," she told Lopez.
Some things are better left unmentioned.
Michael Douglas has gone through a lot in the past couple of years. Thankfully, Douglas is now in remission from cancer and is looking to regain some of the fun he missed out on during his stressful chemotherapy treatments. He dished on some of his favorite "mood enhancers" during a February 2010 interview with AARP Magazine.
" ... some wonderful enhancements have happened in the last few years—Viagra, Cialis — that can make us all feel younger," he said during the interview.
We're guessing Catherine Zeta-Jones is one happy lady!
