LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Just one day after Access Hollywood confirmed Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were engaged, new reports have surfaced that the happy couple are officially newlyweds.
According to a post on Latina.com, Mariah and Nick tied the knot on Wednesday in a small, private ceremony.

According to the article, the "very impulsive" ceremony was held on an undisclosed island and attended by a few close friends, including Da Brat.
When contacted by Access Hollywood, reps for both singers were unavailable for comment.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 - 1998.
This will be the first marriage for Nick, who was previously engaged to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.
