LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jude Law has become a father for the fourth time, according to a new report.
Samantha Burke, the 24-year-old model and aspiring actress who was carrying the "Cold Mountain" star's baby, has given birth.

A friend of the Burke family told People that Samantha gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday night. She previously announced on her Web site she was going to name the child Sophia.
"I doubt Jude was there," the source said. "Besides the financial support, he's not involved."

Weeks before the birth, Samantha wrote on her Web site that she was looking forward to becoming a mom.
"I'm excited, of course, but a little anxious too," she wrote.
A rep for Jude confirmed his paternity over the summer.
"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," a rep for the star previously said in a statement. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
Jude has three children - Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, who just turned 7, with his ex-wife, British actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost.
