Six employees of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles have been fired over a breach of privacy, and it's likely that it may be related to Kim Kardashian's medical records, the Los Angeles Times reports.

According to to the Times, 14 patient records were accessed between June 18 and June 24. The workers who were fired included four employees of community physicians who have access to the records, as well as a medical assistant and an unpaid student research assistant, the Times reports.

Kardashian gave birth to her daughter with Kanye West at the hospital on June 15. The Kardashian family suspected that Kim's privacy had been breached after the media started reporting information about her newborn daughter, North, that she hadn't made public.

Although the hospital would not tell the Times which patients' files were breached, a spokeswoman said all involved parties had been notified. TMZ reports that Kardashian was informed by the hospital over the weekend that her records had been inappropriately accessed and that workers had been disciplined as a result.
