Report: Bee Gees' Robin Gibb Is in a Coma
The Bee Gees' Robin Gibb is in a coma, according to multiple British outlets.
Gibb, who has been widely reported to be battling cancer, developed pneumonia recently and has slipped into a coma, The Sun reports. His family and friends, including his wife Dwina, his brother Barry, 65, and his three children, kept vigil at his hospital bedside on Friday, according to the paper, which cites a family friend.

Gibb's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press that the 62-year-old singer is seriously ill in a hospital, but declined to comment on the exact nature.
Gibb, who has never specified his illness, was treated last year for stomach and colon problems, and underwent intestinal surgery last month.

Earlier this year, the singer said he was making a good recovery, but he was too ill to attend the London premiere of his classical "Titanic Requiem" on Thursday. His son Robin-John Gibb, who co-wrote the music, said the family was "praying for him and hoping he has a speedy recovery."
Gibb's twin brother, Maurice, died in 2003 of intestine complications, after which the Bee Gees, who have sold more than 200 million records, disbanded.
