Fired Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan is not writing a tell-all tome about her time on the show -- despite false reports by a tabloid.

"Please note, Star did not fact check," her rep tells Usmagazine.com. "If they had, they would have known this is completely not true.

"Nicollette is a private person and would never write a book about this," her rep continues.

Star falsely claimed Sheridan wanted to "spill her grievances with producers and costars."

Sheridan's rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com in February that she was leaving the show after five seasons.

"I love her so much as a person, and I love the character of Edie Britt, that I can't imagine the show without her," Eva Longoria Parker told Extra.

Sheridan was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2005 for her role on the ABC drama.

    Oh, no. I cannot imagine DW without Edie Britt. Is she really gonna quit? I mean Edie is the character that makes the show much hilarious. Well.. I'll definitely keep watching the show without Edie ,, but,, I'm sure the show needs her.
