Celeb chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools welcomed their third child early this morning in London, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Petal Blossom Rainbow was born at 2:46 a.m. at the Portland Hospital and weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

"She and Jools are doing well," his rep tells Us.

Oliver posted updates and hospital photos on Twitter right after the birth.

"She's so cute," he wrote, adding that her name "goes well" with their two daughters, Poppy Honey, 6, and Daisy Boo, 5.

An expert explains what celeb baby names mean.

"The Olivers would like to thank midwives Linda Ordish and Elaine Porter and also obstetrician William Dennis for their wonderful help and support," his rep tells Us. "Jamie and Jools are both completely smitten with Petal already and Jamie is looking forward to two weeks paternity leave to spend time with his four beautiful girls."

The couple -- who have been married for eight years -- didn't know the baby's sex beforehand.

"Jamie would prefer a boy if pushed but whatever appears in April, they will be delighted," a pal told the Daily Mail last fall.

Perhaps they will name a son "Rhodadendron Hibiscus" and call him "Rhody" or "Cuz" haha People are strange in the UK... I think it is funny and entertaining... it doesn't outrage me one bit... I don't however, understand that she looks like she is full term again. Maybe this is a picture of him holding someone else's bab

If they have a boy, maybe they'll name it "Stem." "Leaf" is another one, tho' if spelled "Lief" it wouldn't be too bad. But as for Petal - how foolish!...With all the normal pretty girls' names available, they stick an oddball one on the poor baby, now lumping her in with all the other celebrity offspring with

people, look what ur doing to your kids by giving them suchstupid names. maybe some of these people shouldn;t have kids so they don't have to give them these rediculus names, I guess young parents now should wait to have kids tillthey grow up themselves. we have snotty teens having kids, when they should still be having fun, in love, lol, more like lust would be the better word

Don't celebrities remember school at all and how cruel kid's can be when you have an unsual name? These poor girl's are going to be picked on and I hope they tell their parents this when they are old enough to tell them! How serious will they be taken by other's? How will it look on their Diplomas when they graduate from High School/College? Will you want to hang

What difference is it to us what people name their babies? People arn't happy when they are named common easy names like Bob and Max and they arn't happy with names like Petal. When Jamie Oliver and Charlie Sheen have an input on what you name your baby then maybe you can have an input on theirs. Why can't people just be happy that they are healthy babies.
