LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Reese Witherspoon has called her divorce from Ryan Phillippe "humiliating and very isolating," in a new interview.
The actress, whose new movie, the animated "Monsters vs. Aliens" is due out March 27, sat down with ELLE magazine, and opened up about her split from the "Stop-Loss" actor.

"[It was] very humiliating and very isolating," she told ELLE magazine's April issue. "But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions. When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, 'Are they crazy? I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again.' And I still have moments where I'm like, 'Nothing's ever gonna make sense again.'"
But if her comments about current beau Jake Gyllenhaal are anything to go by, things can't be all bad for Reese. After all, she said Jake was "fabulous."

"He really is a fantastic guy," Reese continued before shutting further questions about her current relationship down. "Unfortunately, he's not in the movie, so we can't really talk about him."
While she kept mum from discussing any more about her romance with the star of the upcoming " Prince of Persia" film, Reese wasn't shy about revealing her thoughts on the paparazzi, who are regularly on her trail.
"Fascination is gonna die off. I honestly know it," she told the mag. "But it's just like I keep waiting and waiting, and then it's just more tabloid magazines, and it keeps going. I don't take a shower everyday. I don't put on makeup everyday. I wear a lot of sunglasses, in case you noticed."

And Reese also hit back at notions she is a Type-A personality.
"I don't think I'm a control freak. I think I'm just fearful," she said. "I operate from a lot of fear, like, of things being lost or forgotten or neglected. Losing the spiritual rather than the physical. It's so funny to me that somehow I've been portrayed as a very, like, closed-off or uptight person. I'm very open."

FL Angel 26Although I used to love Ryan and Reese together, Ryan turned out to be the self-absorbed jerk he looked like. Jake looks like a nice down to earth guy with a sense of humor.
