Stars flooded into the Nokia Theater on September 23 for the 64 th Primetime Emmys and while everyone anxiously waited to see who walked away with an award, fashion was a huge focus at the event. Despite the huge array of celebs who attended the event, only a handful managed to stand out for looking fabulous from head-to-toe. Did your favorite star make best dressed list?
The Colombian beauty sure knows how to work her curves! The "Modern Family" star wore a teal Zuhair Murad body-hugging halter gown that had stunning beading from top-to-bottom. Gorgeous Neil Lane jewels accessorized her wrist and ears and she wore her hair down in lovely curls. There was only one problem - her dress couldn't contain her assets. Right before she won an Emmy, her derriere wanted to make an appearance and busted right through her dress. She tweeted a picture of the incident along with the caption " Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!"
We can't help but love the "Once Upon a Time" actress and she's one of the few people who could pull off the nude Monique Lhuillier gown that was decorated with orange swirled embroidery and an orange belt around the waist. She finished off the look with matching Christian Louboutin heels, a metallic clutch and dainty earrings.
The "Mad Men" beauty was the epitome of old-Hollywood glamor in a white one-shoulder Grecian-style Jason Wu gown that had a black waistband and crisscrossed detailing on the bodice. She accessorized with a black clutch and drop earrings. A beautiful up-do and a pop of red lipstick completed her look.
We're not usually fans of January's style, but she boosted the glamor quotient at the Emmys in a dramatic black Zac Posen gown that was far from the boring black gowns that are usually on display on the red carpet. The structure of the dress was incredible and she's one of the few actresses who has the confidence and attitude to wear this dress and work it. The only issue was the slicked back hair. It was a little too harsh, but overall the look was still fabulous.
The "American Horror Story" Actress made her way down the red carpet in a strapless blue Reem Acra gown that had a sweetheart neckline, a black band around the waist and embellished floral detailing. Her hair was down for the event and she completed the look with a black clutch, dangling jewels and multiple bracelets.
Her pale blue strapless Reem Acra gown is one of those dresses where you're either going to love it or hate it, but we absolutely adore it and her in it. The full-length gown had a sweetheart neckline and multiple layers of tulle. Only she can pull off this quirky dress and make it look phenomenal. The "New Girl" star finished off the look with pink lips and a low bun.
Who gets your vote for the best dressed at the Emmys?
