Another one bites the dust!
Former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Lynne Curtin has thrown in the towel on her 22-year marriage to husband Frank. Citing the popular "irreconcilable differences," the jewelry designer has filed the paperwork to make her split official.
News of the couple's demise fist started in May when Lynne announced that they had decided to separate. At the time she told Radar Online, "After more than 20 years of marriage Frank and I have decided to go our separate ways. I love Frank but it was time to go out on my own. Who knows what the future holds, but I'm looking forward to doing the things that I want to do."
The couple are parents to two daughters - Raquel, 24, and Alexa, 21. Their financial problems as a couple were chronicled on the fourth and fifth seasons of the hit Bravo reality romp culminating with the family being served with an eviction notice.
It seems that the reality breakup is becoming a mainstay of the Bravo series with more and more couples calling it quits. Here are some of the "Real Housewives" couples who have decided to split this year:
Bethenny Frankel: There doesn't look like there will be a happily "Ever After" for the former New York housewife and her husband Jason Hoppy. Despite earning their own spin-off series, the couple announced that they have decided to call it quits earlier this week. In her statement Bethenny says, "It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that, as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family. We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us." The couple has one daughter, Bryn, 2.
Marysol Patton: All was not sunny in Miami! Earlier this month, "Real Housewives of Miami" star Marysol Patton announced that she was ending her marriage to French businessman Philippe Pautesta-Herder. The demise of the couple's marriage was chronicled on the current season of the reality show which airs on Thursday nights. The couple tied the knot in March 2010.
Adrienne Maloof: Things took a nasty turn when the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star decided to end her marriage to Dr. Paul Nassif after a decade of marriage. The months following their separation turned into a legal circus with abuse allegations, a restraining order, and a custody dispute over their three sons. The couple ultimately decided to play nice and ended their marriage civilly in November. The said in a joint statement, "There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control We want the best for each other and we're confident we can help each other make a continuing impact with our children
