LONDON, England, U.K. -- Rachel Weisz has come out swinging against Botox.

In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K., the former "Mummy" franchise star suggested celebs stay away from the face-freezing serum.

"It should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen," Rachel said.

Behind the Oscar winner's opinion is her belief that facial movements are essential to her profession.

"Acting is all about expression; why would you want to iron out a frown?" she added.

And it appears the English-born actress likes to stay natural when it comes to style too.

"I love the way girls in London dress. It's so different to the American 'blow-dry and immaculate grooming' thing."

She's irrational. If acting is all about expression, then Botox does not give an actor an unfair advantage. Bet she doesn't object to wearing free designer clothing and jewelry for photo shoots and red-carpet events.

I think that Botox shouldn't be banned for Actors, because it's there choice if they want it done not hers. She should just care aboout her self not other people, if they make the mistake then they do .............

I personally think everything in moderation is ok. A face lift once or twice shouldn't be that big of a deal, as long as it's not taken to extreme (Burt Reynolds or Joan Rivers.) Everyone wants to feel attractive.

Then so should the airbrushing on her magazine pictures, and breast implants, nose jobs, lip injections, tummy tucks and lipo that most celebrities have already undergone. It is altering their appearance just as botox.

Rachel is 38 (not 23 as someone suggested) and she looks fabulous. I agree there is no need for Botox. It's great to eat healthy, exercise and try to look your best naturally but to poison your body with things like Botox to stay "forever young" is ridiculous. It sets a precedent for the rest of the world that we're all supposed to look "stunning&

Thats because she is like 23! Wait till she gets a wrinkle or two and no one will hire her because of it. If I can afford it, I will get it when I am old.
