Leanne Marshall won the fifth season of
Project Runway Wednesday night.
Her prize?
A fashion spread in
Elle magazine, $100,000 to start her line and a 2009 Saturn Vue hybrid.
A graduate of San Francisco's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Marshall, 27, beat out Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins for this season's title.
Praised by show judges
Michael Kors and
Nina Garcia for her diverse final collection at Fashion Week, Marshall's win comes as no surprise to
Project Runway insiders.
"I was rooting for her the entire time," eliminated designer Blayne Walsh told Us Wednesday at the show's finale party held at L.A.'s STK. "She is just
incredible. She is from another planet. What she produces is amazing and she
totally deserved to win."

Christian Siriano was also pulling for Marshall.
"[I'm rooting for] Leanne and only Leanne. If she doesn't win, I'm never ever watching the show again," he joked to Us at Wednesday's FFANY Shoes on Sale event in New York City.
