Prince Will & Kate Middleton Remain Upbeat in Face of Topless Photo Scandal - 3 Ways They Can Stick it to Reporters

Prince William will likely defend his lady love Kate Middleton.

Prince William and his wife, the former Kate Middleton, are keeping a positive attitude in the face of an unwelcome photo scandal.

Will and Kate are having a grand time in the South Pacific, meeting survivors of the undercover war against the Japanese, attending a church Thanksgiving service in Honiara, and receiving a traditional island welcome in Marapa. They are also enjoying some much-needed alone time on the Tavanipupu Private Island Resort.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are leaving it to their legal team to handle the fallout from the photos. According to a rep, "We can confirm that a criminal complaint has been made to the French Prosecution Department today. The complaint concerns the taking of photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge whilst on holiday and the publication of those photographs in breach of their privacy."

It can't be easy knowing that their private photos have been plastered all over the media. In addition to having 14 photos published by the French magazine, Closer, an Italian magazine has decided to publish a 26-page spread on the topless photos.

While we're glad that they have a dedicated legal team on their side, we're not so sure that these peeping toms will incur anything more than a slap on the wrist. Here are a few other ways that Will and Kate can stick it to those reporters.

    The High Road

Living well is always the best revenge. They've done nothing wrong, and they have nothing to be ashamed of. If they can maintain a united front and continue to hold their heads high, they will be able to ride out the storm. And (unlike those photographers and reporters), Will and Kate will maintain their class and dignity in the process.

Give The Reporters A Taste Of Their Own Medicine

Taking the high road is always the best way to handle these situations. However, sometimes it's fun to give them a taste of their own medicine. Why not turn the tables (or camera lenses) by tracking down these reporters and photographers, and taking pictures of them in compromising situations?

No matter your celebrity status, scandalous photos can damage one's career and reputation, not to mention cause a lifetime of embarrassment. Why not teach them a lesson in privacy and basic respect?

Force Them To Look at Sexy Pics of Charles and Camilla

Another way to stick it to these reporters? Give them exactly what they want. They wanted private photos of royals in love, and that's what they should get. Stick these reporters in a room and force them to look at intimate photos of Prince Charles and Camilla. Talk about the punishment fitting the crime!
