Prince Harry, aka Capt. Wales, returned to Afghanistan for a four-month deployment. His brother, William (second in line after dad, Charles), "is a fully operational Search and Rescue Pilot with the Royal Air Force." The royal soldiers follow in the footsteps of their father, a former Navy helicopter pilot and later a the commander of a Royal Navy coastal mine-hunter. These famous royals are not the only celebs to have served in the military.

She was one tough cookie. As Dorothy on "The Golden Girls," Arthur provided the backbone of the group. Arthur was unforgettable in everything she did, including her role as "Maude." The actress never admitted to being a marine.

Eastwood is too talented an actor and director to be thought of as "the guy who talks to empty chairs." Eastwood may have drawn on his real-life experience of the Korean War to help him develop roles in "Heartbreak Ridge" and "Where Eagles Dare."
