He’s always been the man waiting in the wings, but Tuesday night on "Pretty Little Liars," Wren had his moment with Spencer.
The doctor has had his heart set on the younger Miss Hastings ever since the show’s inception, even if he was engaged to the elder Miss Hastings. That forbidden romance worked until they were caught and the Brit has been working to weasel his way back into Spencer’s heart ever since.
But, seeing as her emotions were previously occupied by the now-evil (or not, time will tell) Toby (Keegan Allen), she wasn’t exactly available. So, the minute he heard Spencer (Troian Bellisario) was in the dumps, he swooped in to cheer her up. And cheer her up he did this week, as the totally rebounding Spence grabbed Wren (Julian Morris) and gave him a good, hot kiss.
Whether or not this will last (it can’t really, right?) remains to be seen. Ditto for whether or not Wren is into this for nefarious reasons -- he is in contact with Mona, after all, which might just make him a member of Team A. The fact that Red Coat was spotted at the scene of the smooch may lend some credence to that theory -- how else would blondie know where Spencer was going to be?
